love letters

In-flight magazines exist to entertain, educate, inform, and basically help keep the most-often annoyed airline passenger occupied. We feel SkyWest Magazine is NOT the typical in-flight publication. Yes we entertain, educate and inform our 2.5 million passengers with each issue, however our readers learn about the lesser-known, out-of-the-way places and the people that make up these American communities - communities that don’t receive much press. Except from us! As one reader put it, “your in-flight magazine is different than the others, and I’m glad”. Here is a sampling of what others have shared about our SkyWest Magazine. We call them our “LOVE letters”.

“There were many visitors from throughout California and other states. In fact, we had several families, not just the one we mentioned earlier, that came to Modesto to be part of “American Graffiti” from the SkyWest Magazine article/ad. Visitors from Indiana, Nebraska, Colorado, Idaho and Oregon all made their way to our booth, to let us know they read about Modesto in SkyWest Magazine and they were having a great time and would return next year…some with their classic cars.”

"There was a husband and wife from England, touring California on holiday. They had intended to go from SF to LA, via the coast line, until they read about Modesto, and the one thing that is unique to Modesto, “American Graffiti.” They made a detour to Modesto to spend the weekend because of reading the article in SkyWest Magazine.”
